“Complex Study of Gender Portrait of Kirovohrad Region”

Objective: to form the gender portrait of Kirovohrad region in order to attract public attention of government, business and civil organizations for them to take into consideration  gender aspects of social and economic development  of the region  and  to use the  result s of gender analysis into the program, plan  and project development.

Subject matter is the state sector ( bodies of local power ), sector of civil society  and community organizations of Kirovohrad region.

Focus is the sector of active community organizations and power bodies of the region which are involved into gender decision making process. The methods of the study are:  in depth interview with  the representatives of  community organizations, mass media, and content analysis of most popular mass media editions and data analysis.

Number of people involved: 100 experts in the field -representatives of power bodies, mass media and community.

Financing:  Kirovohrad regional state administration the text is being translated.
